Theme:

The theme is to create your own superhero, along with the superhero's secret identity.

Rules:

Your image(s) must contain at least one piece of stock from *Della-Stock, and at least one piece from ~LongStock. You can include other stock photos, or photos of your own as well. Your submission can be a photomanipulation, digital painting, or traditional artwork (with the stock being used as a reference)

We will accept submissions with just the Superhero in them, but you still have to tell us about their secret identity in the description. We would prefer an image with both the Superhero AND their identity, but it is not necessary to win. You can include both your superhero and their secret identity in one image, or two images side by side. (One deviation please)

You must include a description about who your superhero is. What their abilites are, Where they are from, Where they live now... and also information about their secret identity. What is their cover story? Etc... wow us with your imagination

Please send your submissions in a note to *Della-Stock and ~LongStock. You are allowed to submit up to 3 different superheroes.

Please abide by each stock artist's rules set out in their journals. These rules are in compliance with deviantART's own set of stock rules, and must be adhered to.

All submissions must be entered by September 10, 2006. Judging will then take place, and the winners will be announced somewhere around the 15th. Please note both ~LongStock and *Della-Stock with a link to your deviation, with the subject "Superhero".

Also, don't forget to include a link to this journal, (or this news article) letting people know that you are participating in our contest! You can word it however you like. THANKS!

Rules for being a contributor: All contributions will be clearly marked in my journal with a link to your page and/or webpage, with a description of what you are going to contribute to who. (1st, 2nd, 3rd or all three) When the competition is over, and the judging is finalized, you are expected to give your prize within 5 days of the winners being announced. If you are giving a prize that requires cash, and you have to wait till your next paycheck, please send details of this nature to the winner, so that he/she knows what's up, and doesn't think that our contest was worthless.

What can I contribute?: ANYTHING! Just let me know in a note, and I'll keep track, and let you know the winners!
